True Beauty

In a world that focuses so much on appearance and all the externals, we sometimes get so caught up with all the things that don't really matter and we forget what is truly important. God is not as much concerned about our outward appearance as He is what's going on inside. Man looks at the outward appearance but He looks at the heart. (1 Samuel 16:7)

We need to make sure we have balance in our lives. If we spend more time taking care of our outer appearance and neglect to spend daily time in the Word, prayer, and time in worship, we will find ourselves out of balance. Our spirit man will become weak and we will not be able to represent the Lord in the way that He wants us to. We can be beautiful on the outside but if our attitude and character does not line up with the Word, people won't care how we look. The ugliness of our attitude will speak much louder than our physical appearance.

Let God do a complete makeover in your life. Spend quality time with Him each and every day. The more time you spend with Him, the more you begin to reflect His character. That is true beauty and people will know you for what's on the inside. There is nothing more beautiful than a woman who is confident in who she is in Christ and reflects Him in our daily life. Be the woman that God created you to be! You are His precious gem and He wants to show you off!

  1. Hi Angie!

I always enjoy your posts, insights, inspirations and encouragement offered on Facebook daily. It is such an honor to be connected to a true Woman of God, who knows the importance of having a relationship with our Heavenly Father.

I believe this only the beginning of many wonderful things our Savior will be performing in and through you. I truly believe a world stage will be opening up to you to minister to the hurting, abused, oppressed and disenfranchised.

Lord, thank You in advance for the blessing that is getting ready to overtake my sister in Christ, Angie Gray. So it shall be established in faith in the Name of Jesus Christ!

    Amen and Amen.
